Fraud in the name of Awas Yojna in UP

A big fraud has been brought forth in the name of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna. Four people who got the benefits of the scheme had built their homes on government land which was shown as the private land in Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh.

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh): In Dasna town of Ghaziabad a big fraud has been brought forth in the name of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna. Four people who got the benefits of the scheme had built their homes on government land which was shown as the private land.

After receiving the complaint, district magistrate ordered an inquiry and after checking the records of revenue department, it was found that four people had occupied government land and they had also applied for the grant under the housing scheme.

Action has also been recommended against the survey company named Rudrabhishek Enterprises however the company ordered to file a lawsuit against its five surveyors.

The surveyors of the company who ran the entire game and surveyed did not even pay attention to these things during live tagging. Orders of fraud have been ordered against a total of 17 people.

A complaint has been lodged at Mussoorie police station on behalf of Duda's project officer Pawan Sharma after an investigation conducted by the DM. The DM has also ordered recovery of the amount released from all ineligible people as they have got their first instalment as well.
