Kathua (Jammu and Kashmir): The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) have arrested Al Qaeda suspect Inamul Haq's aide Shakeel Ahmed from Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua.
According to reports, Ahmed was in constant contact with Haq and Pakistani terror handlers. Ahmed used to reportedly lure youngsters and incite them to fight for terrorist organisations in the name of jihad.
According to sources, Ahmed was in touch with Pakistani handlers via software applications.
Meanwhile, the UP ATS have brought him to Lucknow from Kathua on transit remand.
Earlier on June 18, the UP ATS had arrested suspected Al-Qaeda operative Inamul Haq from the Quila area of Bareilly district.
Offensive literature related to Al-Qaeda was reportedly found to be stored in his mobile phone which has been seized for further investigations.
