Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh): In yet another major revelation in the gangster Vikas Dubey case, two cops made phone calls to the gangster before the police raid on his house in Kanpur's Bikru village, sources said on Tuesday.
According to the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) investigation, two calls were made to the gangster seven hours and 40 minutes before the scheduled raid by a Sub Inspector and Constable respectively, sources said.
The two cops are said to be among the policemen suspended in connection with the case.
According to sources, SI Krishna Kumar Sharma spoke to Dubey over a phone call at 5.30 pm on July 2, while constable Rajeev spoke to the gangster at 12:11 am, around 40 minutes before the scheduled raid.
