Tutor rapes minor in UP, wife gets him arrested

Based on a complaint filed by his wife, a private tutor was arrested for allegedly raped a minor girl in Uttar Pradesh Muzaffarnagar. During the investigation, the minor confessed to having been molested by the accused. Meanwhile, the girl has been sent for a medical examination.

Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh): A private tutor who had allegedly raped a minor girl got arrested after the incident was brought to light by his wife in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Friday.

The tutor was arrested from Civil Lines area of Muzaffarnagar district after a case was registered against him by his wife on Thursday.

During the tuition classes at home, he fell in love with his student and tried to forcibly take her out on several occasions, police said.

It is also alleged that the tutor was in a relationship with another woman and also had children.

His wife became suspicious of his behaviour and informed the matter to the police. The minor was then questioned and she confessed to having been molested.

Meanwhile, the girl has been sent for a medical examination, police added.
