Ayodhya:Ram Mandir's foundation improvement work is likely to start on Saturday, 10 April. Meanwhile, the trial test of the field material has also started. The 13,000 square feet of the temple foundation will be filled with multiple layers of cohesive material. It will rise to 25 feet above the ground upon which the main temple will be constructed.

So far the project has encountered a problem with the presence of groundwater, which will not provide enough support to the foundation. The proscribed site is currently undergoing a trial of ground improvement. The engineers put a 6-inch layer of material and using a Vibro roller to set the foundation layer. According to sources, the foundation filling work can happen under the watchful eyes of the Chairman of Shree Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Nripendra Misra.
