Ayodhya: Foundation improvement work is set to start in Ram Temple

The Chairman of Shree Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Nripendra Misra, will review the continuing construction work of Ram Temple. The foundation filling work of Ram Mandir is also likely to start today.

Ayodhya:Ram Mandir's foundation improvement work is likely to start on Saturday, 10 April. Meanwhile, the trial test of the field material has also started. The 13,000 square feet of the temple foundation will be filled with multiple layers of cohesive material. It will rise to 25 feet above the ground upon which the main temple will be constructed.

So far the project has encountered a problem with the presence of groundwater, which will not provide enough support to the foundation. The proscribed site is currently undergoing a trial of ground improvement. The engineers put a 6-inch layer of material and using a Vibro roller to set the foundation layer. According to sources, the foundation filling work can happen under the watchful eyes of the Chairman of Shree Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Nripendra Misra.

Meanwhile, Nripendra Misra has reached the city on Friday. He will conduct several meetings to discuss the ongoing project work of Ram Temple. In a series of meetings, he will meet the district administration officials, trust board members, engineers and consultants involved in the project. He will also visit the site and seek a report on the foundation improvement project work.

Dr Anil Misra, a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, informed the media that the trust's primary focus is to develop the grand temple premise, keeping in mind the rich cultural heritage of the city.
