Hardoi: Three people were injured in a clash between two groups on Saturday over a land possession which is owned by the village society in Bhailamau village in Lonar police station area of Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi.
There was a dispute between two residents of the village, Narendra Singh and Lal Singh over the possession of a piece of land which belongs to the village society.
One group tried to capture this piece of land, after which dozens of people from both sides came face to face and started firing after beating each other with sticks.
Police force reached the village after the villagers reported to police about the incident. After seeing the police, accused fled from the spot. Police have sent injured Narendra Singh, Lal and one other to the district hospital for treatment.
Police said that no arrest has been made so far and they are investigating the matter.
Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar said that the three injured people Have been sent to the district hospital where we will record their statements on this matter. After recording the statements from both the sided, appropriate action will be taken in this entire matter.
