Uttar Pradesh:Some attendees of Tablighi Jamaat who were put up in quarantine facility at Hallet hospital in Kanpur misbehaved with health care staffs and spat at the doctors and nurses, an official said on Sunday.
Referring to the Tablighi Jamaat congregation that was held last month in the Nizamuddin Markaz, health ministry joint secretary Lav Agarwal said that around 30 per cent were linked to "this particular place" which he said could not be managed.
According to Dr Arti Lalchandani, Dean of G.S.V.M Medical College, occupants under isolation misbehaved and picked a quarrel with health officials after they were asked to take precaution and not to venture out of their rooms.
