Gorakhpur: The Yogi Adityanath administration in Uttar Pradesh has demolished several roadside shops and a temple to widen Gorakhnath-Sonauli highway.
Of late, the town, with over ten lakh vehicles, has started witnessing huge traffic jams, resulting in problems for the people.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been paying special attention to his home town Gorakhpur as work is on to beautify the city with widening of roads and removing encroachment from roads and by-lanes.

The widening of the Gorakhnath-Sonauli highway would ease traffic situation in the city to a great extent, and people are happy that their city will have smooth traffic flow with new roads being built and the older ones being widened.
According to the official sources the town would also witness other work of development as the administration plans to beautify the home city of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in a big way.
