School teacher shot dead over alleged love affair in UP

A primary school teacher was allegedly shot dead by some people in Shahjahanpur of UP. The deceased allegedly had an affair with a lady teacher in the school.

Shahjahanpur:A school teacher identified as Satendra Sharma was beaten and later shot dead in Nigohi area of Shahjahanpur by some unidentified people on Monday.

The incident took place when the deceased was teaching at Ajeetpur Primary School in the district.

According to the police, the teacher allegedly had an affair with a colleague in the school. The husband of the lady teacher is the prime suspect in this case and he has fled away from the city.

The deceased was shot at his mouth and was dragged towards a nearby farm, the police said, adding that effors were on to nab the crimnals.

The body was sent for post-mortem and further investigation is underway, they said.
