Samajwadi Party leader Bijli Yadav shot dead in Mau

Mau (Uttar Pradesh):Samajwadi Party leader Bijli Yadav was shot dead in Muhammadabad in Uttar Pradesh's Mau district. The SP leader was allegedly shot by bike-borne assailants in his village. 

According to reports, the incident took place when the SP leader went for a morning walk. He was reportedly shot from a close range and died on spot.  The police have shifted the body to the district hospital for post-mortem. 

Further investigation is underway.
