Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is currently in the process of acquiring necessary no objection certificates (NOC) from the concerned authorities before it formally starts the construction work.
Earlier, it was being speculated that the trust would submit the map of the Ram temple complex to the Ayodhya Development Authority on August 26 for vetting and approval.
However, trust general secretary Champat Rai has clarified that they are completing the legal process before starting the construction of the temple to ensure that no unnecessary obstacles crop up once the work begins.
Permissions are being obtained from various departments before submitting the map of Ram temple to the Ayodhya Development Authority for its approval.
Rai said the digging work for the foundation will start only after the map is approved by the office of Additional District Magistrate (ADM) for which the NOC is being taken from nine departments of the government including fire and forest.
Meanwhile, the Ayodhya Development Authority has already readied the development plan for 70 acres of land including the 2.77 acre area where the temple will be built.

The trust is also keeping in mind the sentiments of the devotees while commencing the construction of the Ram Temple. Since many devotees would want to see first-hand the construction work of the temple, the trust is identifying places from where the devotees can view the construction activities.
According to Champat Rai, adequate arrangements with all facilities and equipment will be made available so that devotees do not face any issues or security threats.
From the security point of view, the Ram Temple site in Ayodhya has for long been a red zone. As a result, the trust is not keen to hand over the Ram temple's security to a private agency. Champat Rai said that the government agency would take care of the security of Ram Lalla.
