Preparations underway to start the work of Film City in Noida

Additional Chief Secretary (Home) and Information Awanish Awasthi inspected the site at the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority's sector 21 and instructed officials to submit a Detailed Project Report (DPR) soon.

Noida: The necessary paperwork and other arrangements are expedited to commence the construction work of Film City in Gautam Buddh Nagar, official sources said.

Considering the increased influence and usage of digital media across various domains, the project was renamed as Infotainment City. Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh, said cinema shootings will begin at Infotainment City within three to four months.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had recently approved a proposal to set up the Film City in 1,000 acres of land along the Yamuna Expressway, near Noida.
