Four charred to death after car catches fire in UP

The identity of the victims has not yet been ascertained as the bodies were completely charred in the accident in Prayagaj.

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh):Four people were burnt alive after being trapped in the car they were travelling in, which crashed into a tree under Koraon tehsil in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj late Tuesday night.

As being speculated, the car might have crashed after hitting the tree which caused the fire.

The bodies of the four people were completely charred in the fire.

The local people came to know about the incident early morning after which they informed the local police.

After which the police reached the spot and the remains of the dead people were sent for medical legalities.

The deceased have not been identified so far.

Earlier, on November 16, six persons were killed and four were injured when the car they were travelling in hit the railing of a bridge and turned turtle at the Madhubaniya crossing.

Eyewitnesses said that the accident took place due to overspeeding in fogging condition.

Similarly, on November 02, six people were killed and 10 others were injured in a road accident in Bahraich district.

The incident took place when the mini-truck they were travelling in collided with a truck.

While five people died on the spot, the sixth person died in the hospital during treatment
