Ayodhya: Demanding justice for the killings of three persons, including two seers, in Palghar district of Maharashtra, Swami Paramhans Maharaj, a Hindu monk, has started fast-unto-death, saying he would not eat or drink anything unless and until justice is served in the case.

He said the incident has shaken the nation. "It is the killing of humanity and constitution of India," he said in a video message here.

"I will continue with my fast-unto-death without worrying about my life," he asserted, adding that the seers killed were not going for a picnic, they wanted to attend the funeral of their guru.
Accusing Congress to have been involved in the attack, he demanded a probe into the incident.

"I believe the probe would lead to Congress' involvement in the killings," the Hindu monk said.
