Paramhans Das warns of backlash if aspiration on Ram temple not met

Mahant Paramhans Das has said that the BJP and others concerned must build the Ram temple as quickly as possible while keeping in mind aspirations of crores of people in mind. He said there could be strong opposition if people are ignored in the whole work.

Ayodhya: Mahant Paramhans Das has said that Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has a huge responsibility to fulfil aspirations, concerning the proposed Ram temple, of crores of people.

Interacting with the media here he said the BJP made a commitment for the Ram temple when it just had two MPs and now when the party has governments at the centre and in the state, it must do everything possible to get it built as soon as possible.

"It's time that all concerned get it made as soon as possible keeping in mind aspiration of crores of people who worked for the temple to be a reality for a long time," he said, cautioning that in case their aspirations were not kept in mind, there could be a huge backlash.

He also warned that the trust must act according to the will of the people otherwise there could be major opposition to it.

Some of the people involved with the issue are not happy with the slow progress of the construction work.
