Oppn parties hurl paper balls at UP Guv in Assembly

Lucknow: Opposition parties on Tuesday hurled paper balls towards the podium while Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik was addressing the joint sitting of the state legislature on the Budget Session first day.

The opposition parties started raising anti-government slogans shouted 'Governor Go Back' as soon as Governor Naik began his speech.

Criticising opposition parties’ actions, CM Adityanath said that opposition parties are not getting over with their conduct of felony.

He said, “The way slogans were raised against the Governor & SP members threw paper balls at him is condemnable. We criticise how SP & BSP members behaved in front of the Governor.”
