Mukhtar Ansari to be produced through video conferencing in Mau's CJM court today

Gangster turned politician Mukhtar Ansari will be presented in Mau's District and Session Court today. The mafia don will join via videoconferencing due to Covid guidelines.

Mau:Mafia don Mukhtar Ansari will be produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) in Mau's District and Session Court today. Mukhtar Ansari will be joining via videoconferencing on Thursday. He will be produced in relation to the false arms license case. He wrote to a district official on his letterhead with a fake address, seeking arms license for four people. During the license verification process in 2019, the matter came to light. Following an investigation, Mau police registered a case against Mukhtar Ansari and three others in Dakshin Tola Thana.

In 2020, during a verification drive of all arms license holders and their addresses, few cases of fraudulently issued licenses came to light. Criminal elements obtained these arms licenses by arm-twisting and threatening the officials along with documents forgery. Dakshin Tola Thana has registered cases in this matter.

Ansari's advocate informed about his videoconferencing before CJM

Daroga Singh, the advocate of Mukhtar Ansari informed that the mafia don will appear before the CJM through videoconferencing. He will appear in court in relation to the case registered in Dakshin Tola Thana in Mau.
