Badaun (UP): A large number of policemen were deployed in Katra after family members of the Katra rape victims started protests against the movie Article 15, which is set to release on June 28.
The film is based on Article 15 of the Indian Constitution, which prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
Forces deployed at the Katra rape case victim The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, the protagonist, playing the role of a police officer looks into the case and unveils the motive behind the crime. The victims were from the socially and economically underprivileged section of society. The police say the women, who were hanged in public, were not sexually assaulted, however, the families to this day insist that they were.
