Bhadohi (Uttar Pradesh): In yet another gruesome incident of crime against women on the heels of the Hathras incident, a 14-year-old girl was brutally murdered in Uttar Pradesh's Bhadohi on Thursday. The victim's family suspects that the girl was raped before being murdered.
The police said it was a case of personal enmity According to reports, the girl's body was found in Uttar Pradesh's Tiwaripur village under the Gopiganj police station limits.
The 14-year-old girl had gone to relieve herself at around 2:30 in the afternoon. When she did not return for hours, the family started looking for her. The minor's blood-soaked body was found in an agricultural field near her house.
According to reports, the minor's head was crushed with a stone and there were nail marks on her face. The family suspects that the minor was raped before being murdered.
On the family's complaint, the police later arrested three accused in connection with the case. However, the police said it was a case of personal enmity and rape has not yet been confirmed.

"A relative of the victim's father was staying with them. He used to play loud music from his mobile phone, and the accused Kundan's family thought he had an eye on their daughter. The two families used to have arguments over this matter and things got heated up on September 28 when the two sides had a big fight," Superintendent of Police Ram Badan Singh said.
"Today the murder took place. We have arrested Kundan, his son Prine and another person in connection with the incident. During questioning, the accused admitted to their offence. The victim's family and the accused's family are neighbours," he added.
Contrary to the victim's family's suspicion, the SP said that it has not yet been confirmed that the girl was raped before being murdered.
Meanwhile, the SP said that the victim's body will be sent for a post-mortem examination. Further details will be known only after receiving the autopsy report, he said.
