Saharanpur:Upset over not being able to go back home, several migrants created ruckus in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district on Sunday.
Several migrants came out of the shelter homes- where they were lodged- to protest against the government.
They marched towards Ambala highway with lathis and rods in their hands.
Heavy police force was deployed in the area to control the commotion.
Police officers tried to persuade the migrant workers who reached Uttar Pradesh from Haryana and Punjab.
District Magistrate Akhilesh Singh told that all the workers have been given accommodation in shelter homes along with food arrangements.
Private buses have been arranged to take them back to their native places, said Singh.
