Man, wife commit suicide in Ghaziabad's Indirapuram

A young couple, who got married two year ago and was doing well, found dead in Ghaziabad's Indirapuram. Police said an SMS was sent by one of them to their relative and she found them dead in their residence.

Ghaziabad: A man and his wife were found dead while their eight-month-old child was crying as the door of their house in Indirapuram was opened by a relative this morning, police said.

Police received a SMS message saying that a man and his wife - identified as Nikhil and Pallavi - have committed suicide byhanging themselves in their house. The couple married two years ago.

Circle Officer Anshu Jain said that Pallavi sent an SMS to her sister before committing suicide. She came and found the two hanging in two separate rooms, while their child was crying.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem and further investigation is on, she added.

Two days ago, a coronavrius infected person had also committed suicide in the district.
