Man sexually abuses daughter in Uttar Pradesh

A minor girl was sexually abused and beaten up by her father in an inebriated state in Shravasti district of Uttar Pradesh. A case has been registered against her father, who is on run.

Shravasti:A 14-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused and thrashed by her father in an inebriated state here in Uttar Pradesh, police said.

The incident came to light when the minor's condition worsened and she was admitted to a nearby hospital. Police rushed to the hospital after being informed by the locals.

The victim informed the police that she was being sexually harassed by her father for many years. Her mother died when she was two-year-old and she lives along with her father.

Police have recorded the statement of the victim and sent her for medical examination. A case has been registered in this regard.

A hunt is on to nab the accused. Further investigation in the case is underway.
