Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh):A man has been booked in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh for allegedly injecting his pregnant wife with an HIV-infected needle, seeking a divorce from her.
A case has been registered at the Lodha police station on the basis of the complaint filed by the victim's father. In his complaint, victim's father alleged the involvement of the woman's in-laws and the owner of the nursing home, where the crime was committed. The owner of the nursing home is a relative of the accused.
According to the family members, the accused Mahesh Gautam is a contractual-based technician in the pathology lab of District Hospital Malkhan Singh. He was married to the victim on 7 December 2020, but soon after coming to her in-law's house, she got to know that her husband is involved in an extra-marital affair with his colleague. When she questioned him, she was harassed for divorce.
