Hardoi:Uttar Pradesh police arrested a man for allegedly molesting a seven-year-old girl in Hardoi district on Saturday.
As per reports, the accused Masihuddin Siddiqui, who is said to be a Congress worker, called the girl to his home and molested her. A woman from the neighbourhood saw this and reported the matter to the next of kin.
Following this, the family members of the girl and the people of the locality reached the spot, caught Siddiqui and handed him over to the police.
It is to be noted that the police have registered a case regarding this and started further investigation.
