Varanasi:A century-old mosque by the name of Anar Wali Masjid in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, attracts devotees from all faiths.
Bechan Baba, a Hindu pandit, the main caretaker is looking after the mosque for 60 years now.
As the caretaker of the mosque, he sets an example of communal brotherhood.
The mosque is situated in the Varanasi's Chaukhamba locality. The locality which has a majority of Hindu population with the famous Gopal temple nearby.
Thousands of devotees pay their obeisance in mosque irrespective of their religious beliefs.
While speaking to ETV Bharat, he said, "Everybody comes here to worship, be it Hindu or Muslim. My father used to be the caretaker, I was inspired by him and now my son is also looking after this mosque. We do not think about religion while worshipping. "
The mosque has four parts which include Sayed Tara Shah Baba, Meera Shah Baba, Anar Shaeed Baba and Chaukhamba Baba.
