Earlier, a major train accident was averted on 24th October at Sadisopur railway station in Bihar's Bihta. The train was going from Kamakhya to Lok Manya Tilak. The moving train split into two parts and seven bogies of the train were left behind which caused panic among the passengers. As the frightened passengers started to shout out of panic, the alert driver stopped the train which averted a major accident that could have taken hundreds of lives.
Half the coaches of the train were left behind by about a kilometre.
