Varanasi (UP):US President Donald Trump's India visit has created great uproar and excitement among people in Prime Minister Modi's constituency Varanasi.
According to sources, American tourists, who are on a visit to the city, were welcomed at Ganga ghat and with the Ganga-aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, people prayed for long-lasting friendship between India and America.
Speaking to media, Rajesh Shukla, convener of Namami Gange, said, "We prayed for the long lasting friensdhip between India and USA. We welcomed every American tourists who have come here to visit. They too pariticipated in Ganga-aarti which somehow shows that they are also facinated by the city's culture and devotion.
It is to be noted that the US President Donald Trump along with the First Lady Melania Trump has embarked on two-day India visit on Monday.
