FIR filed against Hema Malini for violating poll code

The Mathura police have registered an FIR against Bollywood actor-turned-politician Hema Malini for violating the model code of conduct during a rally. Hema Malini has been booked along with the organisers of the public meeting, police said.

Mathura: An FIR has been registered by Mathura police against Bollywood actor-turned-politician Hema Malini for violating the model code of conduct during a public rally in Uttar Pradesh's Ajhai Khurd village.

According to the police, BJP MP and candidate of Mathura constituency violated the model code of conduct during campaigning in her constituency.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Gyanendra Kumar Singh, said Hema Malini was booked along with the organisers of the public meeting.
