Sultanpur: In a horrific incident, a woman murdered her husband after she was fed up of being harassed by him in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur district.
According to reports, the man, Rajesh, was a migrant worker and had returned home to his village Jasapara a few days ago.
However, Rajesh's wife was fed up of him as he allegedly used to drink and harass her, frequently questioning her character.
Finally one day, the woman got her husband drunk and then murdered him by slitting his throat with a sharp object.
Following the incident, the woman reportedly created a ruckus and blamed her brother-in-law for the incident. However, traces of blood were later found on her clothes, following which she was taken into custody and questioned.
"The woman got her husband drunk and then murdered him. Based upon the investigation by the dog squad, we suspected the family members," said Sultanpur SP Shivhari Meena.
