Farrukhabad: In Uttar Pradesh, Farrukhabad's Basic Education Department terminated more than 30 teachers and registered a police complaint against them for using fake BEd degrees and related certificates to secure jobs.
The department is now working on the recovery of their salaries.
The teachers submitted fake 2004-05 BEd degree certificate of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University.
BSA Lalji Yadav said that 25 teachers working in the district were dismissed for showing fake B.Ed degrees from Agra University.
Now a case has been filed against these teachers in various police stations as well as preparations are being made for recovery of salary from the said teachers.
He told that two teachers were found in the list of STF. They have also been dismissed and a case was filed.
Besides this, names of 7 teachers were included in the list of fake teachers. FIRs have been lodged against three of them and preparations are being made to register cases against 4 others.
