Farmer commits suicide in UP

A 32-year-old farmer was found hanging in his agricultural field in Bhura village of Muzaffarnagar on Wednesday evening. The reason behind his taking the extreme step was not immediately known, police said.

Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh):A 32-year-old farmer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tubewell pipe in Shamli district, police said on Thursday.

The farmer was found hanging in his agricultural field in Bhura village on Wednesday evening, they said.

The reason behind his taking the extreme step was not immediately known, police said.

The body was sent for post-mortem, they said.
