Elderly killed by younger brother over family dispute

In an incident involving a family dispute, a man was killed by his younger brother as he would scold him for creating ruckus in the village.

Unnao: An elderly man was allegedly killed by his younger brother because of some family dispute, police said.

The incident took place in Jawan village under Oras police station area of the district. The decreased, who was
identified as Dalganjan Singh (65), would generally scold his younger brother Rakesh Singh, who would drink alcohol and abuse the villagers and create problems for the family.

Two days ago, Dalganjan Singh had informed the police about Rakesh Singh's behavior and he was let off after warning by the police, but he created ruckus in the village again.

On Wednesday, he came to his elder brother's house and accused him of leveling false allegations against him. This led to heated arguments following which Rakesh Singh along with his two sons - Suraj and Chandan - attacked his elder brother Dalganjan Singh with sticks and bricks.

Dalganjan Singh died on the spot, police said, adding that further probe is on in the case.
