Agra (UP): Despite the enforcement and awareness campaign of the State administration and police, helmets are not becoming mandatory across the country.
You can see many people who are riding two-wheelers without wearing helmets but there is also a place in the Agra city where almost every people are presenting an example of traffic safety along with discipline.
In Dayalbagh, young children, youth, women, men and the elderly will be seen wearing helmets while walking on the road.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Indu Mishra, a resident of Dayalbagh said," elderly women walk with a stick in their hands with a helmet on their head. This is for safety. The stick and helmet are the parts of our safety. We don't know when the road accident will occur but just because the helmet protects our head during the accident, we are wearing a helmet".
Nowadays, the helmet has become an integral part of our body. Many accidents have happened recently. We have seen that people fell while walking and suffered a serious head injury. So we have to wear a helmet for safety, Shankar Lal, a local said.
Though it looks funny when people wear a helmet while walking or cycling but factually it signifies that it has become mandatory after the increasing rate of the accidents.
