Uttar Pradesh's Chief Secretary, Rajendra Kumar Tiwari issued an advisory that all the HoDs has to draft a weekly roster of duty for Group B and C staff and ask them to attend office on alternate weeks. The personnel of the departments associated with contingency facilities are kept away from this decision.

Lucknow:In the view of the rising cases of COVID-19 in India and beat the spread of the virus to minimal, the Uttar Pradesh government has ordered 50% of government employees to work from home.

State's Chief Secretary, Rajendra Kumar Tiwari issued advisory that all the Head of the Department (HoDs) has to draft a weekly roster of duty for Group B and C staff and ask them to attend office on alternate weeks.

According to the order issued by the Chief Secretary, only half of the employees will be called in the departments, the responsibility of making a roster of the personnel of Group B, C and D will be on the Head of the Department, who will be in contact with the employees on mobile and computer.

The personnel of the departments associated with contingency facilities are kept away from this decision.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has not only issued an alert but has now issued orders for work on the road in the departments, all kinds of closure orders have been given.
