New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with BJP's district president and other senior leaders of his parliamentary constituency Varanasi via video conferencing over Coronavirus preparedness.
After identifying that there is major unavailability of masks, PM Modi suggested using Gamchha (towel) as a mask which is commonly used by the people of Uttar Pradesh.
Prime Minister Modi had a conversation with BJP district president Hansraj Vishwakarma of Varanasi to know the situation of the city during lockdown due to Coronavirus. While interacting with leaders, PM appealed to party workers to aware people about the spread of the virus and to use Gamchha to cover their mouth.
After PM 's appeal, the BJP party worker came on the streets and distributing saffron colour Gamchha among those who do not have masks. People are also appreciating this gesture of BJP workers.
