COVID-19 lockdown: UP man opens fire at workers as they refuse to go to work

Harbaksh Singh, a farmer by profession, opened fire at workers as they refused to go for work amid the threat of coronavirus threat in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district. The Police have registered a complaint regarding the incident.

Lakhimpur Kheri (Uttar Pradesh): A farmer in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district opened fire at workers who refused to go for work amidst nationwide lockdown.

As per reports, the Harbaksh Singh was in need of workers to peel his sugarcanes off. As workers refused to go amid the threat of coronavirus, Singh got furious and opened fire.

The local police registered an FIR against Singh and said that no one got hurt in the firing.

It is to be noted that the country is under complete lockdown in order to fight against coronavirus pandemic.
