Chief Engineer of Noida Electricity Department VN Singh said that industries have come under crisis during the lockdown. More than 100 connections were cut and more than 150 factory operators have reduced the load.
The Chief Engineer admitted that there is a loss of revenue as the industries are closed following coronavirus induced lockdown as commercial institutions such as malls, hotels and shopping centres have been shut down.
"The commercial institutions are a good source of revenue, but all are closed amid the corona period. Under such circumstances, about 70 crores less revenue has been generated," VN Singh said.
