Meerut (Uttar Pradesh):Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate, who reached Meerut on Saturday, targeted the PM Modi government regarding the issue of Afghanistan and the Taliban. During a conversation with ETV Bharat, she said that the public wants to know what is the stand of the government on Afghanistan and the Taliban.
Legislative Assembly elections are going to be held in Uttar Pradesh in 2022. On the instructions of Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, the UP Congress has appealed to the public to provide suggestions regarding the Congress election manifesto. The Congress Party in the state is organizing a 'Manifesto Dialogue Program'.
On Saturday, senior party leader and former Union Minister Salman Khurshid, party spokesperson Supriya Shrinate and some other party leaders reached Meerut. These leaders associated with the Congress Manifesto Committee discussed the manifesto by establishing a dialogue with the different sections of the society. During this, party spokesperson Supriya Shrinate spoke to ETV Bharat. She said that the party leader Priyanka Gandhi wants that the manifesto not be made between four walls, rather with the involvement of the people by taking their expectations and aspirations into consideration.
