Congress MLA abuses Dy Collector over land lease, audio clip goes viral

In the purported audio clip going viral, the MLA is threatening the Deputy Collector for releasing the land lease during the appeal period. Although, the Deputy Collector is clarifying that he has issued the lease since there was no stay, but the MLA abuses.

Balrampur:Congress Tribal MLA Brihaspati Singh is again in the limelight with yet another controversy. In the purported audio clip going viral, the MLA is threatening the Deputy Collector for releasing the land lease during the 'appeal in court' period. Although the Deputy Collector is clarifying that he has issued the lease since there was no stay, but the MLA is abusing.

Speaking on the matter Deputy Collector Prafulla Kumar Rajak has said that he is looking after the work of Janpad Panchayat CEO in Ramanujganj.

He further said, "I was very surprised and shocked. It was very painful for me. I've taken the decision as per rules. When these public representatives react this way, then the enthusiasm to work also diminishes. I am not working for myself. I am working for the people. Government and administration are two wheels of a vehicle. The rift between the two sends the wrong message to the people."

Deputy Collector also said, "I have not complained anywhere. We are public servants and they are public representatives. I respect them. It is useless to delve into this matter."

Meanwhile, MLA has denied the matter calling it a big conspiracy hatched against him. He also dismissed the audio clip as fake.
