CISF nabs man with live cartridge at Noida Metro Station

A 22-year-old man was nabbed by CISF personnel from the security hold area at the Noida Metro station after a live cartridge was found in his baggage. The CISF personnel immediately informed the matter to Senior Officers, who arrived at the spot and enquired the matter.

Noida (UP):The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Monday nabbed a passenger with a live round of 7.62 bore at Noida Sector-62 Metro Station.

The man identified as Sagar Chauhan was arrested after CISF personnel detected the bullets during baggage screening through X-BIS machine at the metro station.

According to CISF, Chauhan, 22, is a resident of Meerut's Shamli.

The CISF personnel immediately informed the matter to Senior Officers, who arrived at the spot and enquired the matter.

On questioning, Chauhan failed to give a satisfactory reply to CISF and he was also unable to produce any valid document.

It is learnt that the Uttar Pradesh police has filed an FIR in this case and further investigation is underway.
