Ayodhya:Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya has declared that he will self-immolate himself if the Union government didn't impose President's Rule in West Bengal due to the post-poll violence. The religious seer has given a 24-hour deadline to the Central government to decide on his demand.
Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya, a resident of the cantonment of Acharya Peeth Sritapaswi, told that he will self-immolate on May 25 at noon as per his declaration and has also made preparation for this. He has reiterated his demand for the president's rule in West Bengal, where several BJP workers have been murdered following the end of West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections.

Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya said that he can answer the culprits in his language, but does not want to take the law into his hands. He further added that in democracy, the constitution gives the right to people to vote for any political parties and leader as per their free will. But as soon as the election result was declared after 2 May in West Bengal, a large number of Hindus were killed by intruders and Rohingya Muslims at the behest of Mamata Banerjee.
