Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh): Three persons were killed and 25 others sustained injuries after the bus they were travelling in overturned in the Tappal area of Aligarh district, police said on Saturday.
The bus, which was carrying 45 passengers, was on its way to Delhi from Kanpur. It met with an accident in the early hours of Saturday.
It is being said that the driver lost control of the bus due to the sleep after which it hit the guard rail and overturned.
On receiving the information police personnel reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations.

The injured were first admitted to the Community Health Center at Tappal later they were shifted to Kailash Hospital in Noida.
The bodies of the deceased were sent to Aligarh for post mortem.
The identity of the dead is being ascertained.
Circle officer Khair, Parshu Ram said it was a private bus and was on its way towards Delhi from Kanpur. The bus overturned on a highway near Rewa village in which three people died on the spot and many more were injured who have been shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the loss of lives in the road accident.
He has directed district administration officials to ensure proper medical treatment to those injured in the accident, the Chief Minister's Office said.
