BSP leader, nephew murder captured on CCTV

A CCTV footage has emerged in the BSP leader and his nephew murder case. Based on the video, the police is searching for the absconding assailants.

Bijnor: A CCTV footage of BSP leader and his nephew's murder inside their office located on the gurudwara road in Bijnor of Uttar Pradesh has been found by the police on Thursday.

BSP leader and property dealer Haji Ashan and his nephew were shot dead by two unidentified assailants on Tuesday.

Property dispute is being prima facie seen as the reason behind the Haji's murder, according to senior police officials.

• The two assailants were seen carrying a sweet box in their hands.
• The two can be seen entering a first pathology clinic near the office to inquire about the leader.
• They arrived at the office saying they want to congratulate Haji following the victory of the party’s newly elected MP.
• Within seconds they were seen running away with a weapon which was hidden inside the box.

A case was registered by the police against two unidentified persons.

On the basis of the footage recovered, a manhunt for the absconding assailants is being carried by the police.

Further investigation in the incident is underway.
