Uttar Pradesh: Body found hanging alongside Taj Expressway

A 48-year-old man, who was later identified as Umesh, was found dead and the body hanging on a tree alongside the Taj Expressway by Ghazibad police. A case has been registered and the probe is on to unearth the truth.

Ghaziabad: A body was found hanging from a tree alongside the Taj Expressway under Vijay Nagar Police Station area on Tuesday morning by local people.

People, who were out for morning walk, noticed the body and informed the police immediately, an eye-witness told ETV Bharat here.

It was learnt that the deceased, identified as one Umesh, 48, had gone to her maternal aunt's place on the occasion of 'Raksha Bandhan' the previous day.

Meanwhile, the police have sent the body for postmortem after registering a case. Only probe would tell if he committed suicide or someone killed him and hanged the body onto the tree.
