Lucknow:World Animal Day is celebrated across the world on Tuesday with an aim of protecting the rights of animals, not harming them in any way, as well as paying special attention to endangered species. On the occasion, ETV Bharat spoke to Ali Hasnain Abidi of Lucknow, who saved 6,000 animals till date, and his entire house was dedicated to the protection of animals.
Normally, animal rearing was confined to villages, but now it was seen in urban areas, too, which is not only good for the environment, but also for human life. Ali Hasnain Abidi has all kinds of rats, hens, venomous snakes, rare fish, cats and cows at his residence. The house of Abidi has become a hub of animals, birds and snakes. Interestingly, Abidi has an in-depth study of the movements of each animal, that is why they are provided with a natural environment. His whole family lives among these animals. His daughter Fatima said that she has lived among these animals since her childhood.
