Al Qaeda mulled creation of women's wing named 'Shaheen Force': Reports

Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) had been busy planning a women's wing named 'Shaheen Force', reports say. It has been learnt that the Islamist militant organization chose women from poor families to form the Fedayeen squad, were brain washed and transformed into human bombs. It has also been revealed that the target was to add 500 women to the alleged wing.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): Terrorist organization Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) had mulled creation of women's wing named 'Shaheen Force', reports said, adding that women from poor families were chosen to form the Fedayeen squad. It is also learnt that they were given money and two meals a day, and then brainwashed to turn human bombs. These details were allegedly revealed in a probe by the National Investigation Agency.

It has also been revealed that the target was to add 500 women to the alleged wing. Even, the UP ATS hasn't denied these reports. According to the IG ATS GK Goswami, the plans of Al Qaeda are being unravelled with the help of intelligence agencies. Along with this, the possibility of formation of Shaheen Force is also being completely probed.

Also NIA sources revealed that the women's wing of AQIS, had carried out many incidents abroad and that specifically women from poor families were chosen for this work. The camps for women were being organized on the Afghanistan and Syria border. Post training, the women of Shaheen Force are instructed to keep a very low profile and lead a simple life.

In connection with this, the mobile data recovered from terrorists Minhaj and Musheer of AQIS (Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent) wing in Lucknow had also gone missing. In order to recover the missing data the ATS sent the mobiles to the forensic lab for data recovery.
