Uttar Pradesh: 9-month-old charred to death in fire accident

In a tragic incident, an infant was charred to death by an accidental fire in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal district. The deceased has been identified as Raghav who was the only son of his parents.

Sambhal: A pall of gloom descended on a family in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal district where a 9-month-old boy was charred to death.

The incident took place at Gangavas village and the deceased has been identified as Raghav who was the only son of his parents.

According to reports, the victim's sisters were playing in the field and he was sleeping in the nearby hut. While playing, they somehow got hold of a matchbox and burnt it which led to the fire in the hut.

As the hut caught fire, the victim's parents rushed to save him but a part of the hut fell on him which led to his death on the spot.

Meanwhile, a local said that the entire village is in a state of shock after this painful incident.
