Unnao (Uttar Pradesh): Seven persons were burnt to death on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Sunday night when the car they were travelling in collided with a truck.
Car hits truck, catches fire on Agra-Lucknow Expressway Unnao Superintendent of Police (SP) Virkant Veer Singh said that the accident took place when one of the tyres of the car burst and caught fire after hitting a truck in another lane.
"Seven persons in the car were burnt alive in the incident, he said, adding that victims were yet to be identified."
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident and directed the district administration to provide all possible help to the victims' family.
