4 people run over by train in Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli

Four people were ran over by a cargo a train in Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli. The bodies of all the four victims were sent for postmortem. Police are investigating the matter.

Chandauli: Four people were killed after a cargo train ran over them in Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli.

According to reports, a cargo train passed from DDU Junction to Chandauli on the down line near Hinauta village in Sadar Kotwali area. It ran over the four people between poll numbers 660/24 - 660/30. The driver of the train immediately informed the control room.

On receiving the information, Kotwali police along with the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force(RPF) reached the spot.

The bodies of all the four victims were sent for postmortem. The matter is under investigation, the police said.
