Man snaps own finger after voting for BJP

A dalit youth in Uttar Pradesh cut off his finger after he accidentally pressed the EVM button, that he did not intend to do while casting vote in the second phase of Lok Sabha polls on Thursday.

Bulandshahr: A dalit youth chopped off his finger in a fit of anger after he wrongly pressed the EVM button for the BJP instead of his desire to vote for BSP on the second phase of voting on Thursday.

Youth cuts own finger

The youth, 25-year has been identified as Pawan Kumar from Abdullapur Hulaspur village in Shantipur police station of district Bulandshahr.

Kumar, as informed by his family members, apparently wanted to hit BSP button on EVM but instead, he pressed the button for the BJP.

Frustrated by his own action Kumar could not get hold his emotions and ended up cutting his own finger.

He immediately rushed to a hospital.

He later released a video of the incident on social media.
